The ARC of Fort Bend dedicates building in honor of Dr. James Condrey.
September 3, 2026 — Missouri City, Texas — The Arc of Fort Bend County was pleased to host more than 70 family, friends, and special guests on Thursday, August 13, 2026 at the All The Little Things Count (ATLTC) Learning Center in Missouri City for a building dedication ceremony in honor of Dr. James
D. Condrey, DDS.
As a resident of Fort Bend County, Dr. Condrey founded Fort Bend Dental Associates and led the practice as CEO for 40 years. Most recently, he served as the Board Chair on The George Foundation’s Board of Trustees. “The Board of Directors and The Arc’s staff are deeply grateful for the generosity of The George
Foundation and for the vision and support that Dr. Condrey provided throughout the years. Through his leadership and commitment to improving lives, he helped secure funding that will sustain and enhance this facility as a place of learning, growth, and opportunity for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities for generations to come,” said The Arc of Fort Bend County’s Board Chairman, Stewart Jacobson.
Dr. Condrey has remained deeply committed to community service, having served as president of the Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, Oyster Creek Rotary Club, and many other local organizations. Even in retirement, his family acknowledged how he remains to be a source of inspiration to all who know him.
His son, Greg, also shared a personal story about his aunt, Mary Lee Condrey, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at birth. She was the first individual to inspire Dr. Condrey’s passion and heart to serve those with IDD. As a young man, Dr. Condrey often fought for her and defended her right to services.
Through this building dedication, Dr. Condrey’s legacy will continue to impact individuals and families like his beloved sister for generations to come. His wife Jan, son Greg, daughter Emily, and extended family were seated with him to celebrate the event.
The Arc was honored to welcome The George Foundation CEO, Roger Adamson, ATLTC Executive Director, Alma Carrillo along with board members and staff from both organizations. After the ceremony the guests enjoyed heavy d’oeuvres while staff from ATLTC provided building tours with a behind-the-scenes look at how clients gain meaningful skills, confidence, independence, and connection.

For nearly 60 years, The Arc of Fort Bend County has ensured opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) to maximize their quality of life within our community. The Arc was founded by a group of grassroot parents who wanted to improve the lives of their children with IDD. It has grown into a diversified service and advocacy organization providing life-enhancing programs and vital support to people of all ages who have ID, autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy.
ABOUT ALL THE LITTLE THINGS COUNT
A home and community service (HCS) program focused on individuals and families that provides Individualized Skills and Socialization (ISS) services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). All The Little Things Count and All the Little Things Country now serve 472 individuals with special needs and intellectual disabilities at six offices and day habilitation sites throughout the Gulf Coast area including Harris, Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend and Wharton counties.
