The Foundation provides funding for nursing scholarships for Fort Bend County residents obtaining a Second Degree Bachelor of Science Nursing (BSN) degree from the University of Houston – Sugar Land. The Second Degree bachelors program is a twelve-month, intensive, full-time program for people holding bachelor's or master's degrees in other fields who want to become registered nurses (RNs).
20 scholarships of up to $3,600 each.
Applications must be postmarked by December 1st.
Applicants will be notified by the University of Houston – Sugar Land School of Nursing.
The Second Degree BSN Scholarship program is administered by the University of Houston – Sugar Land School of Nursing. Scholarship recipients are not selected by The George Foundation Trustees or Staff. Please do not mail application packets to The George Foundation.
