It’s summertime! While kids need downtime and a vacation from school, structured activities during the summer are crucial to prevent them from engaging in risk factors associated with free time and reduced supervision. This month, we highlight a few of our grantee partners who provide summer programming that offers exposure and exploration of new experiences, keeps kids engaged in learning, and offers activities unrelated to screen time.

Fort Bend County YMCA
The YMCA has summer programs in Jones Creek, Four Corners, and Fort Bend YMCA. There are an average of 66 campers at Jones Creek, 83 campers at Four Corners, and 153 campers at Fort Bend YMCA!

Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater Houston

Big Brothers Big Sisters
