Scholarships for
Graduate Social Work Students
The George Foundation has chosen to fund
two Foundation initiated full scholarships
for Fort Bend residents obtaining a Masters
level degree in Social Work. The students
receiving the scholarship are required to
complete their field placements within Fort
Bend County, and, upon graduation, the
students will be required to work as a
licensed Master’s level Social Worker for a
minimum of two years with a Fort Bend
nonprofit. The two scholarships are funded
through the University of Houston Graduate
College of Social Work.
